Oil & Acrylic
| Oil Painting with Michelle Hauer |
 |
| Michelle is a beautiful painter and will share her methods with you during this 5 day morning class in July. Examples of her paintings are available at Bear Creek Studio. |

| When: 10-12 mornings beginning January 15 for 6 weeks and a second session beginning Febrary 26. |

| Abstract Painting with Patty Therrien |
|
| Explore line, shape, colour and texture and create your own painting. You will learnhow to manipulate colour and different mediums to form your creation |

| When: Tuesday evening 6-8 beginning January 12 for 6 weeks. |

| Acrylic with Patty Therrien |
|
| Patty will teach you colour, composition and painting techniques as you explore acrylic painting using a variety of subject matter. This class is good for the beginner to intermediate painter who would like instruction on designing and completing a good painting. |

| When: beginning January 15, Friday afternoon from 1:00-3:00. A second session begins February 26. |

| Water Soluble Oil Painting with Beth Smith |
|
| Beth will introduce students to colour theory and composition using water soluble oil paint. This paint allows you to clean up with soap and water so it provides a better alternative than using solvents. Beth had a show at Grace Brothers last summer and has been working at new landscapes and still life paintings. She will use demonstration as well as exercises to allow you to explore landscape and still life subject matter. |

| Acrylic with Ariel Lyons (afternoon) |
|
| Ariel will introduce a variety of mediums and techniques through demonstration. Original surfaces, glazing, scumbling will be explored. Students will be able to choose a subject matter that appeals to them using these techniques. Acrylics, surface support, brushes and mediums are needed for this class. |

| When: Tuesday afternoon, 1:00-3:00 for six weeks beginning February 2. |

| Acrylic or Oil with Ariel Lyons (evening) |
|
| Ariel will introduce a variety of mediums and techniques through demonstration. You will be able to work in either oil or acrylic using landscape and still life as subject matter. You must enter by the back door for this class because the Mall is closed so pleas ask for instructions. |

| When: Tuesday evening 6:00-8:00, beginning March 3 for six weeks. A second session begins April 21 |

| Working with Acrylic Paint and Mediums..Ariel Lyons |
|
| This class will focus on technique with acrylic materials. You will work on many small pieces so that you will be able to evaluate the different methods. You will need a variety of small boards, canvases or heavy watercolour paper. You will need your own brushes and acrylics but I will supply the differnt mediums and materials for you to try. |
